  • Do you have a cancellation policy?

    Yes. Being a small business we need to have a cancellation policy in place. Canceling at short notice generally means we are unable to resell the spots.. Therefore we  have a strict 7 day cancellation policy which we adhere to. If you can’t attend you can send someone in your place.

  • Do you sell gift certificates?

    Yes we sell certificates at all price ranges from $90 to $240. We have a page dedicated to gift certificates on our website www.cookingwithcompanypdx.com.

  • Do you offer private classes?

    Yes we do offer private classes for between 8 and 12 people. We have experience in family reunions, birthday parties, bridal showers and friends’ get-togethers. Please email me directly claire@cookingwithcompanypdx.com for more information and availability.

  • Do you offer team building classes?

    Yes we do offer corporate and team building classes. We have had the pleasure of hosting management teams from well known Portland industries. We’ve even had teams from different States visit us. Please email me directly for more information - claire@cookingwithcompanypdx.com.

  • How many people are in a class?

    We max our class sizes out to 14 people for a more hands on, one on one experience.

  • Can I attend a class by myself?

    Yes! We love that people feel safe and comfortable coming to Cooking With Company Pdx by themselves. Please be aware you may have to work with another participant or your chef.  It’s a great way to meet new people.

  • Can my 20 year old come to a 21+ Class?

    Our 21+ classes are exactly that. We have dedicated all age classes for our younger cooks.

  • Do you have an age limit for your All Age Classes?

    Yes, we cannot accommodate anyone under the age of 10

  • How do your classes operate?

    We keep our class sizes small for a more personal, hands-on experience. This allows us chefs  to give everyone one-on-one attention and allows us to set everyone up for success and answer any questions. We cook in pairs and you create your own meal from scratch. When you finish cooking, you and your group will sit down and eat together. 

  • How experienced of a cook do I need to be to attend one of your classes?

    We have cooks from all levels of experience attend our classes. From people just starting out to more experienced cooks. Sometimes I learn something new too!

  • How long do classes last?

    Our 1 course classes generally last 1½ to 2 hours plus dining time and our 2 course classes generally last 2½ to 3 hours plus dining time.Some classes do take a little longer especially the stuffed pastas. Time flies when you are having fun.

  • Do you offer classes for people with special diets?

    Most of our classes are suitable for vegetarians or can be made so. Our Sunday afternoon classes are Vegan friendly and our Ricotta Cheese Night can be adapted for Gluten Free diets.

  • Do you have parking?

    There is street parking  available.

  • What if I get stuck behind a train en route to a class?

    The train is a part of our beautiful Portland and we have no option but to work around it. To bypass delays consider these alternatives from the south, detour via:

    1. Powell Blvd (OR-26 East) to SE 20th Ave.

    2.SE Woodward St to 99 North, then SE Division St.
